Seaview High School Redevelopment and Major Facility Upgrade. TTS was instrumental in the extensive facility upgrade at Seaview High School, completed at the end of 2022.
Process
This project was part of an initiative to enhance the educational environment by introducing modern, multipurpose buildings and refurbishing existing structures to support a broad spectrum of academic disciplines.
The project was time-bound to the school holiday period, specifically over Christmas, requiring swift and precise execution to ensure readiness for the new term. Stringent safety standards were needed, especially in developing facilities with complex accessibility features such as fully compliant ramps for the highest disability access regulations.
Furthermore, managing operations over the holiday period required careful scheduling to balance team availability with family commitments, ensuring continued productivity without compromising the well-being of the staff.
TTS tackled this project with thorough planning and expertise, ensuring that each phase was seamlessly executed. The team comprised 6-10 dedicated professionals, ranging from plumbers to electricians and carpenters, all synchronised to deliver the project efficiently and effectively.
Key to the project's success was doing things right the first time, adhering to strict project specifications, and implementing high-standard accessibility features in all new constructions. Any defects that arose were addressed immediately, and plans were made for off-hours correction to minimise the impact on the school's operational hours.
The Result
The successful revitalisation of ageing infrastructure and the seamless introduction of new facilities were completed within the stipulated tight deadline, meeting all specified educational and safety standards.
